Babykort

Jeg lager stort sett jentekort, og det går veldig ofte i rosa!:)

Men helt nylig fikk jeg anledning til å lage et babykort til en gutt. Noen i familien vår fikk en liten gutt født i uke 28. Vi bor ikke i nærheten så å dra på besøk blir vanskelig, men vi har sendt en liten gave og hilsen til de. 

Motivet er av Elisabeth Bell. Jeg rett og slett elsker dette motivet, det er så utrolig søtt.
Jeg har prøvd meg med blyanter på kraft igjen, en blanding av coloursoft og polychromos.

Innsidene er pyntet likt som forsiden. Stempel fra Stempelglede. Håndskriften min er ikke noe fin så den har jeg skjult litt! Papirene er fra Maja Design, dieser fra Spellbinders og Magnolia er brukt.

På baksiden har jeg stemplet en babyrangle som også er fargelagt med blyanter.

På tag`en bak motivet har jeg stemplet navnet på den lille gutten.

Flower fairies

A Creative Romance have a new challenge, Ribbon or Twine. I decided to make a quickiecard to enter.

I`ve used the cute Flower Fairies from Wee stamps. They are colored with copic, the flowers gotten a layer with star dust stickles. The sentiment underneath them says "For you...". Ribbon from stash, and the cute button is from Melissa Frances.

The insides. The card is cut out using various Spellbinders dies. Decorative labels eight, labels eight and eighteen, classic ovals. DP used are from Maja Design.

The ribbon is attached to a tag, which is hidden behind the motif. The panels are glued together with 3mm foam pads. The top panel/frame got inked with frost white on the edges.

Flowers for you

I almost always color with copic, but sometimes it`s fun to try new things. A while back I bought some colored pencils, and I`ve barely used them. So I decided to give it a try! I have to say, suddenly I felt like I was seven years old and coloring blue skies and green grass :) Never feels like that when I`m coloring with copic.

Here`s the result of coloursoft and polychromos on kraft cardstock. I have to say it was a bit harder achieving contrast with pencils than with copic. I`ll just have to practise some more!

The base cardstock is walnut cream smoothie from bazzill. The brown cardstock is actually a frame I cut with my scalpel. The picture dont show it, but irl you can see the frame on top of the motif. The motif is a stamp from Stampendous, the sentiment are from Norsk Stempelblad. It says "you deserve flowers". 

Withoutwords have a challenge going now thats called Summer Picnic - the colors of strawberries, cream and cucumber sandwiches. I would like to join if my card is accepted. I dont know how much of other colors are allowed, so you`ll decide.
